Postscript                                               A Good Night’s Sleep
































             Dinners at Wash’s home included lively conversations thoughout the evening.  In this photo, he
             is surrounded by guests for a dinner in honor of the Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines.

                                                     While not a Catholic, Wash forged a strong
                                                     relationship with His Eminence Luis Antonio
                                                     Cardinal Tagle. He would often say that he
                                                     thought Cardinal Tagle could be the next Pope.
